Call Termination Service
with Intelligent Routing

The call termination service of UnicoTel makes it possible for our customers to route traffic to various termination partners depending on the current termination price and value in effect at the time, or on the time of the day. We aim to make it possible for our partners to always be able to select the termination direction that is the most beneficial to them - based on any consideration, such as the most favorable price/value ratio or the successful call ratio. In case of international termination, we are offering the service of a dozen termination partners with independent networks to our customers. The intelligent routing functions of the service make it possible to:
  • amongst others, percentage based distribution of the traffic between termination carriers
  • so-called time dependant routing
  • setup of various termination qualities (LCR, HQR)
  • setup of secondary and tertiary control, using which the average success ratio (ASR) can be significantly improved without packets transmitted to several termination carriers.
In addition to all of this, we are providing our partners with an online Web routing interface where the routing table currently set up can be modified at any time, 24 hours a day. Following routing modification, the next call will be terminated at the newly selected carrier, and our system will send an electronic confirmation regarding all routing changes.

When the service is provided, UnicoTel connects to the switch of the partner using it to receive the traffic to be terminated, and terminates the traffic received through its domestic and international partners. The connection may be implemented using an SS7, ISDN, SIP, or H.323 interface.

This service is recommended for all telecommunication carriers who would like to offer termination with the most beneficial price/value ratio to their customers. Call success may be increased with the service offered by intelligent routing, which, in addition to customer satisfaction, can also result in increased traffic. The solution is also ideal for companies offering VOIP services who would like to transfer the calls of their customers initiated into wired networks to domestic and international telecommunication networks while maintaining the best quality.
