Virtual Office

Replace your physical PBX with the full range of UnicoTel PBX services available via the Internet.

Within the framework of our Virtual Office service, our partners can use the Web site www.virtual-office.hu to access the graphical user interface of their PBX, where they can set up how their telephone numbers and extensions operate on an administrator or end user level.

What are the advantages of the UnicoTel Virtual Office service?
  • Provides end-to-end PBX service without the physical implementation of the PBX.
  • Partners can set up extensions, departments, as well as IVRs for a given telephone number on the administrator level.
  • Unlimited upgrading of the number of system extensions.
  • Partners can also set up direct access to and grouping of extensions, group access can be implemented using a call distributor. A central number, fax number, and voice mailbox can be set up for groups.
  • Access to extensions can be set up freely based on the date, time of day, and calling party.
  • Personal profiles, voicemails and fax boxes can be freely activated and deactivated.
  • The call arriving at the extension are displayed on the Web site by date and calling number.
This service is ideal for beginning enterprises not yet in possession of a PBX, as well as for those with a working PBX who would like to continue extending their PBX functionality.

As an additional benefit, the Virtual Office service may be sold and invoiced by the telecommunication partners of UnicoTel on their own behalf. They may implement Virtual Office configurations as they see fit for which only the access telephone number must be provided later upon startup.

As the service is provided, the traffic to be sent to the Virtual Office is received by connecting to the switch of the partner using the service. The connection may be implemented using an SS7, ISDN, SIP, or H.323 interface. Calls leaving the Virtual Office are returned to the partner for termination, or UnicoTel may also terminate these as needed. Regarding the Virtual Office service, our partner may use its own telephone number, or the UnicoTel number field.

Our partners may use the service to efficiently extend their own telecommunication portfolio, but the Virtual Office may also be sold as an independent service. With the use of the Virtual Office, the traffic of our partners may also increase, since all calls arriving here are answered.
