Calling Card Service

UnicoTel provides a full range of telecommunication services related to its calling card service

The calling card service is similar to the so-called prepaid card service already well known from mobile carriers. The end user purchases a card with a predefined value, which amongst others contains a dial-in number, a unique serial number, and a scratch-off surface with a secret PIN code underneath. The end user dials the dial-in number, specifies the PIN code, and has access to the balance purchased which can for example be used for discounted international calls.

The data required for the production of calling cards (serial number, balance, PIN code) can be created in our databases in any number, value and currency. UnicoTel provides a full range of telecommunication services for the calling card service. This means that we can provide both the dial-in number required for the service (which may be geographic, toll free, local tariff based, or international) as well as domestic and international call termination. Naturally, if our partner wishes to operate the service using its own telephone number, and use its own network and partners for call termination, this can also be done. In this case, the UnicoTel switch is connected to the partner switch, UnicoTel takes calls from there, and once managed, hands them over for termination. The service can be managed and supervised through the Internet using a client program.

Our partner can use the Real Time Engine to continuously keep track of its customers' balance and to create traffic and financial reports regarding these at any time.
Using the service, our partners may introduce their own calling card service on the telecommunication markets of Hungary or neighboring countries.
